hi grasshead!! i'm supposed to write a super duper long entry for you now. =) don't worry, usually my super duper long entries actually do make sense, they have lots of content in it, you may not really understand it, and it may come across as utter rubbish to some people, some people may find it very "lame" or whatever, and may think that i'm an indeed very bored child. but alas, i shall proof these fools wrong today, that i, denise cheong, am not a useless freak person. ultimately i'm writing this entry out of boredom and yes, i have nothing better to do. but in this case, it's not whether i have nothing "better" to do, just think about it. the phrase "nothing BETTER to do". makes you wonder doesn't it? ok, maybe it doesn't. haha. it means that there is nothing, absolutely nothing, zero, zilch, NA, nil, or however you might want to express the word "nothing", that i can do right now that is "better" than writing this super long entry? now, it makes you wonder again, what does the word "better" mean? better may not be better to someone but might be better for someone else who thinks its better for them but not better for the person. yup. let me break that down for you, let me write it in a way where i do not try to be clever and think i'm smart and try to write that simple meaning down in the chimest and longest way possible so that it appears that i'm clever and chim when i'm actually not, but maybe i am clever and chim, depends on how well you know me and how you would like to interpret what i'm saying. but honestly, i'm just acting clever and sophiscated. me and my glorious attempt to impress people with my self-proclaimed good english. haha. anyways, back to my point. where was i? ermm.. oh yes, the "better" thing. what i was trying to say is that "better" has many different meanings, it all depends on one's point of view. for example, maybe better means beneficial? better could mean more fun? more exciting? better could mean alot of things, depends on what you're comparing it to. yup. so in my case, when i say i have nothing better to do and thus i'm writing this super long entry, what i actually MIGHT mean, is that there are other more stuff i could be doing right now, that i could actually benefit from. that i could actually gain knowledge from, and as you know, knowledge is like the *insert metaphor here*. haha. yup. i can't think of a suitable metaphor for knowledge. but yah, you get what i mean. so i could actually be doing homework, or revising through my notes or whatever, because it is ultimately and fundimentally "better" than just writing a super duper long entry here. this entry means alot to me. because it teaches how to think logically, step by step, one linking to the other, and the whole chain of thought. i implore you to dig deeper. peel the words, let them speak to you. it is not gibberish to be dismissed as nonsensical, but rather, metaphors of society. i ask of you, read between the lines. i urge you, seek and you shall find. it is crystal clear, the message i bring forth. ok, i don't even know what message i'm bringing forth now. hahaha. erm. yeahh. so far you realised that this entrire paragraph is only the introduction to my brilliant essay entry? hahahah. are you scared now? you must be thinking "what the hell." and scolding all sorts of hokkien vulgar words in your head. HAHA. JUST KIDDING. erm. yeah, you must be shocked and taken aback because this is merely the beginning. but as we've all learnt from the matrix, well not everyone, but specifically myself, have learnt that every beginning must have an end. yup. this applies to everything, except God's love for us. =) isn't that wonderful? isn't that overwhelming? oh yes it is. God's love is overwhelming. let me share with you something from a friend's blog. if 'love' can be explained, then its not love anymore. think abt it. so i can derive the following equation.. Love = inexplicable; God = inexplicable; Love = inexplicable = God. therefore God = Love. there you go.. yup. so i want to assure you that God loves you. He created you in His image. He loves more than anything! if there's no one to turn to, God is always and forever there with you. don't be so sad already ok?? God has a plan for all of us, it's just whether we want to trust his plan or not. he loves us that's why he gave us free will and the freedom to choose. ultimately, we make our own choices. more often than not, we don't factor God into the choices that we make, that's why our lives always end up so screwed. but if we let him take care of us, then it won't be so bad. "for i know the plans i have for you, declares the Lord. plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." (jeremiah 29:11) yup. so you get my point. =) let me point out something else. also adapted from a friend's blog. love is manifested in both large and small ways. in small ways, the little things that you do or experience can amount to a big thing. its the small things that actually work a path into someone's heart that opens it up to you. its the little things that make you smile.for example, just telling someone 'hey, you look good today.' can make his/her day. but telling someone through actions is one step up. for example, having someone greet you cheerfully can cause you to be cheerful as well. all this can actually turn people's hearts to see you in a better and more loving manner. the little things are like the little grains of sand that will erode away the stone wall barring your way into the person's heart. even seeing the person you love can do wonders for your day. if you well and truly love someone, your heart will not only skip a beat when you look at them, but you will even feel happy just knowing he/she is well. and when he/she smiles at you, you feel genuine joy.and of course, the big thing that love is generally. people may say they love someone that they would die for him/her, but would they actually do it if a gun is pointed at the particular person? i'd say very, very few. Who is willing to suffer judgement and unfair treatment throughout their whole lives for complete strangers? who is willing to die for the people that have beaten you to the point of death? i'd say no one.no one except the Lord Jesus Christ. He was looked at with distrust, treated badly and hated. for whom? complete strangers like you and i. sure, we're His children! but who would die for people who have mistreated, bullied and who have spoken badly about you? Jesus died for everyone, the people who loved him, the people who hated him, and the people who have never even heard about him. now thats love. =))) please give that some thought. i strongly urge you to accept Jesus Christ into your life. i promise you your life would be changed and renewed from then on. =)) yay. preaching is over. erm. yeah. i'm kind of lost this super long entry. i'm getting tired of seeing so many words. *gasps. i'm shocked by the amount of effort i've spent researching and resourcing in order to make this entry a useful and meaningful one. i hope you've gained something from this, melissa. =) i want to continue writing, but the words are tiring my tiny eyes. haha. shall end here for the mean time. love you lots grasshead!!
